Every now and again it diverts away from that and just engages in outright Tom Foolery, but usually talks about digital media."

So if you've got a short attention span and you're in the mood for some digital media industry info and a bit of Tom Foolery, we've got the blog for you. Be sure to stop by and check out Jacob's blog. Thanks for joining us! Keep spreading the word!

Reminder to Stay Involved and Educated

In an effort to bring attention to what has happened in the Metropolitan School District of Perry Township, I'm providing a few links on this site. Hopefully answers will be found soon. Until then, I'll leave you with a quote from bnpositive:

"For any of your readers that are not a part of this township, I just encouarge everyone to take this situation as a reminder to stay involved with their local elections and specifically school boards. We can't continue to complain about the state of education in America when we don't even know what's going on in our local schools."

Our newest blogger has been around the block for a while. It appears he's been blogging since January of 2002! I'm impressed. His name is Michael and his blog is Gottahavacuppamocha. A bit more about Michael and his blog:

He doesn’t own a car, watch TV, or listen to the radio. He is not a luddite, but feels these things are overated and unnecessary in his life. However, he is fond of music, likes movies, and appreciates certain vehicles as works of art. His personal choices for entertainment are books, DVD’s, and the Internet. He also messes around with Blender 3D software, GIMP raster graphics, and Sodipodi vector graphics. Mike also likes to tinker with his website, as it is a “work-in-progress.”

Be sure to check him out and learn more. He's got an awesome blog. Thanks for joining us Michael! Everyone keep spreading the word. Good luck to the Colts this weekend!

Bill Benner Blogs for Indianapolis!

It's an honor and a privilege to announce to the Indianapolis community that Bill Benner is joining the blogging ranks. His brand new blog, Indy Insights, will focus on "the people, places and experiences that make Indy special." Plenty of content there, that's for sure. More about Bill's blog:

"Bill Benner, associate director of communications for the Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association, has lived in and around Indianapolis his entire life. He’s grown up with the city, watched it change and evolve from the ordinary to the extraordinary. He has a sense for what Indy was, what it is and hopefully, what it will be. So Bill has tucked his trusty reporter’s notebook into his back pocket. He’ll write about what he sees, what he experiences, what he feels, what he thinks. He’ll provide glimpses into our people and places and the things that make Indianapolis unique and different, and occasionally express his thoughts on city issues."

Thanks for joining us Bill! We hope you enjoy blogging and living in the Circle City. Everyone be sure to drop by and visit his blog often. Spread the word!

TWO New Bloggers and a Colts WIN!

Congrats to the Colts on a sloppy win last night. A win's a win I guess.

And, a big welcome our two newest members: Mike and Kaj!

First we have Mike, First we have Mike, First we have Mike, who brings us a very unique blog called, who brings us a very unique blog called, who brings us a very unique blog called,"Searching, Searching Searching." About Mike's blog:

"Well, it started out more as a quest. Just to find the things I like to blog about. Over the summer it has morphed into a blog about Air Shows and the Air Races in Reno, where I grew up. I have no idea what I'll blog about during the winter, but I'm sure we'll find plenty here in Indy to talk about, probably the Pacers and Colts, and other happenings. I'll hit the occasional tech stuff also (since I work in IT), but there seems to be so many tech bloggers, I'm not sure I'd have much else contribute there. Who knows? Maybe some of the Indy bloggers will start a good conversation we can link to, and contribute to."

Thanks for joining Mike! I never thought I'd find a guy in Indianapolis blogging about Air Shows, but then again- I never thought I'd find a rollergirl in Indianapolis either. And that's exactly who our next blogger is!

Meet Kaj, and her blog, "Resisting Inertia." She's a member of the Naptown Roller Girls and is a fellow Indy blogger. What her blog's about:

"The sporadic musings of a twentysomething rollergirl, music freak, beer geek, and political junkie in the Circle City."

You know I'm hooked. Thanks for joining Kaj!

Keep spreading the word everyone, and be sure to visit each other and strike up some conversation! Also, Kaj and Mike- If you want a pic next to your link on the sidebar, please email me the url.
